Maya's family feared they'd lose their precious girl when she was hunched over in pain and couldn't eat. They knew she urgently needed medical attention, but there was no money for a vet visit. That's when they reached ou to Fences For Fido. Thanks to our Nelson & Ginger Care Fund, founded by our friend Angela, we were able to say "yes" to helping this family, and they rushed Maya to the vet's where she had emergency surgery for a severe bowel obstruction. Her surgery not only saved her life, but she was spayed at the same time so she can live a long and healthy life without worries of unplanned litters. Her family wrote us to say, "We can't begin to explain how grateful we are for you and your whole organization!
